Table of Contents
Please note that because these cheats are not original game code, they may still have bugs associated with them. Please use at your own risk.
The cheats menu is where one can find many of the newly implemented features in OpenRCT2. The Cheats Menu may be accessed with CTRL+ALT+C on Windows and Linux or CMD+ALT+C on macOS.
Financial Cheats
| Cheat | Usage |
|---|---|
| No Money | When checked, disables money. |
| Add Money | Gives the amount of money specified in the entry box. |
| Set Money | Sets player's available funds to the amount in the entry box. |
| Clear loan | Pays back all loan money. |
Date Cheats
| Cheat | Usage |
|---|---|
| Set Date | Set date to date specified in the entry box. |
| Reset Date | Reset date to March 1st Year 1. |
Guest Cheats
| Cheat | Usage |
|---|---|
| Large tram | Sends 250 guests into the park. |
| Remove guests | Removes all the guests from your park and closes all attractions. |
| Happiness | Gives guests either the minimum or maximum possible happiness value. |
| Energy | Gives guests either the minimum or maximum possible energy value. |
| Hunger | Gives guests either the minimum or maximum possible hunger value. |
| Thirst | Gives guests either the minimum or maximum possible thirst value. |
| Nausea | Gives guests either the minimum or maximum possible nausea value. |
| Nausea tolerance | Gives guests either the minimum or maximum possible nausea tolerance value. |
| Toilet | Gives guests either the minimum or maximum need for the bathroom. |
| Preferred intensity | Sets each guest's preferred intensity to either less than 15 or more than 1 |
| Add to guest inventory | Give every guest +1K money, a park map, a balloon, an umbrella or any combination of the four. |
| Guests ignore intensity | Guests ride every attraction even if the intensity is extremely high. |
| Guests ignore prices | Guests ignore the prices of rides and stalls. |
| Disable vandalism | Disables the ability for guests to vandalize the parks benches, litter bins and lamps. |
| Disable littering | Stops the guests from littering and vomiting in your park. |
Staff Cheats
| Cheat | Usage |
|---|---|
| Staff speed | Select whether staff walk at normal or fast speed. |
| Remove litter | Removes all litter from footpaths and empties all litter bins. |
| Clear grass | Makes the grass look like a finely groomed golf green. |
| Water plants | Waters all flowers and plants in the park. |
| Fix vandalism | Repairs all broken benches, litter bins and lamps in the park. |
| Mow grass | Makes the grass look like it has been mowed by handymen (shows the stripes). |
| Disable plants withering | Disable plant aging such that they don't wilt. |
Park Cheats
| Cheat | Usage |
|---|---|
| Own All Land | Own all land except the park entrance path. |
| Remove Park Fences | Make the park fences invisible. |
| Close Park / Open Park | Forces the park to close or open. |
| Never-ending marketing campaigns | Marketing campaigns never end. |
| Force park rating | If the box is checked, keeps the park rating at the specified value. |
| Win scenario | Win the scenario regardless of if the objective has been completed. |
| Goal: Have fun! | Set the scenario goal to Have fun! |
| Allow Building in Pause Mode | Construct rides and landscape while paused. |
| Allow regular path as queue | Use nonqueue pathing as a queue pathing. |
| Allow special colour schemes | Enables void and invisible colours. |
Ride Cheats
| Cheat | Usage |
|---|---|
| Fix all rides | Fixes all broken down rides. |
| 10 min. inspections | Set all rides in the parks inspection interval to 10 minutes. |
| Renew rides | Sets the reliability of all rides to 100% and resets their built date to "this year". |
| Reset crash status | Resets the crash history of a ride, so guests will not complain that its unsafe. |
| Enable all drawable track pieces | Allows building hidden track pieces. |
| Allow chain lifts on all track pieces | Allows any piece of track to be made into a chain lift. |
| Allow build track at invalid height | Enables building track and footpaths at half-units. |
| All destructible | Some scenarios disable editing of some of the rides already in the park. This cheat lifts the restriction. |
| Show all operating modes | Makes it possible to change your rides operation modes to all the available in the game (buggy, use with caution!). |
| Unlock operating limits | Allows faster lift and launch speeds up to 255mph/410km/h which the game will normally not allow. |
| Disable brakes failures | Disables ride breakdowns and crashes due to brake failure. |
| Disable all breakdowns | Prevents rides from breaking down. |
| Rides don't decrease in value | Keeps rides at brand new status. |
| Allow arbitrary ride types | You can change any ride to any other ride type. |
| Show vehicles from other track types | Makes it possible to change vehicles on a ride to all the available in the game (buggy, use with caution!). |
| Disable vehicle limits | Allows you to have up to 255 cars per train on roller coasters and up to 31 trains on any ride. |
| Ignore research status | Acts as if all items have been researched. |
Nature/weather Cheats
| Cheat | Usage |
|---|---|
| Change weather to | Forces the specific weather to be used. |
| Disable weather changes | freezes the selected weather. |
| Create ducks | Spawns ducks. |
| Remove ducks | Removes all ducks. |
